Video Transcript: Shoulder Pain Leads to Discovery of Pleural Mesothelioma

I started having problems in 1996. I was having a pain in my shoulder and rib cage. Various doctor visits could prove nothing. Going in and out of doctors' offices all the way up until 2002, where we eventually found the problem. At this same time, I had been visiting with a brother of mine who also had mesothelioma..... which I find out a month after visiting him. I found out I had the same cancer. So, basically, with the medical field, you can’t blame them because it is hard to see and diagnose.
