Video Transcript: Family Files Mesothelioma Lawsuit After Father Develops Pleural Mesothelioma

Andrew said to me, "The one thing that I want is for my family to survive, even if I don’t. Even if something ever happens to me, I want to know before I close my eyes that my family has been taken care of." And when I say he did that: he did that. I did get a financial settlement out of it, which has brought me and my family today to where we are. I don’t take if for granted. Could I give it back today in place of my husband? Of course. Could I live in a car? Yeah. Could I live on the street? Yeah, for my husband. But knowing that that will never happen- my husband coming back. The only thing I can do right now is look forward and never give up. And every time I get sad or at a low point of the day, because I still get those, I can hear Andrew saying to me, "Latanyta, never give up, okay?"
