Video Transcript: Swollen Abdomen Symptom of Peritoneal Mesothelioma

In the summer of 1998, Craig started developing retaining fluid in his abdomen. In his stomach, it appeared almost like he was pregnant. He had a hard abdomen, but on a scale he wasn’t losing weight. He was maintaining his weight. Everywhere else he was getting thin... in his back and in his arms. You could tell that he was thin. So it was hard to tell, really by looking at him, that he was not normal. He would weigh himself, and we were trying to, I guess, justify that he was sick. Because on the scale, he was still the same weight.
