The Meso Foundation: Research, Education, Support and Advocacy

The Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation is a non-profit organization where patients, families, physicians, advocates and researchers work hand-in-hand toward their ultimate goal: eradicating mesothelioma.

Understandably, many people diagnosed with mesothelioma do not know where to turn for help. The Mesothelioma Foundation strives to give patients hope, and to connect them with research, patient advocates and other resources.

Specifically, the Meso Foundation has been instrumental in promoting critically needed research to develop more effective treatments for the disease, to the tune of more than $5 million in grant funding.

Its patient advocacy program offers personalized help to patients and family members, educating them on the disease and putting them in touch with the most up-to-date treatment options.

The work of the Meso Foundation is funded by meso patients and their families who have invested generously in the search for a cure, as well as law firms, drug companies, and companies formerly involved with asbestos, all of whom have joined in the common mission of curing the disease.
